In 2010, discover the trends, the new materials or concepts in packaging of tomorrow, designed and created by exhibitors and presented in a dedicated "Pack Innovation" area.

This is the place to uncover innovations in the sector, with nearly 100 new models displayed by exhibitors, which have been specially selected by a panel of experts.

The 2010 vintage of innovations will be based on the three mainstays of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): 

1- The economic aspect through:
ADDED VALUE AND EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS FOR THE COMPANY

2- The environmental aspect via:
FAIR AND ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE SOLUTIONS

3- The social aspect with:
USAGE, MEANING, AND ERGONOMICS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INDIVIDUAL

 

Pack Experts, the packaging users’ Committee, created by EMBALLAGE

To reflect a constantly changing world and to better identify the present expectations of packaging user markets, the EMBALLAGE 2010 organisers set up the Pack Experts Committee in March 2010.

For the first time, this committee gathers ten leading experts from the biggest international groups in their sectors (e.g. Food, Health, Hygiene-Beauty, Retailers, Industrial goods), as well as ECO-EMBALLAGES:

The Pack Experts Committee led by Annette Freidinger, Consultant for EMBALLAGE, met in Paris on April 1st, 2010 and defined criteria to distinguish the 2010 innovations proposed by manufacturers of packaging and packaging machine and service companies at EMBALLAGE 2010.


Packaging in the new millennium must primarily offer intelligent features, providing solutions while revealing trends i.e. to inform, protect, serve, attract, carry…

Selected by a jury of French and international journalists, 40 innovations were displayed near the entrance of hall 6 at EMBALLAGE 2008 according to five themes : More Eco-Citizen, More Cost-Effective, Safer, More Convenient, More Different.
