The government authorities (in Spain, at least) and environmental impact have led us to believe that plastic bags will be replaced by paper bags in the medium term. Moreover, with the globalisation of the textile trade (one of our major niche markets), many clients are bound to disappear so it is preferable to deal preferably with key accounts rather than with an extensive and varied customer base.
The current febrile economic climate forces manufacturers to seek cheaper models to respond to their clients’ bag requirements. This is the case of the flat handle or light bag, designed to limit the weight factor and to cut the client’s costs.
