1 ) What is the latest news regarding AmbaFlex?

With over 20 years of experience and over 7000 units installed, AmbaFlexSpiralVeyor®’s quality have been proved. AmbaFlex is the inventor of the patented SpiralVeyor® and leads both standards of the shelf Spiral Elevators up to high end Spiral Accumulation concepts.

AmbaFlex is headquartered in Holland, Europe with sales and service offices and manufacturing around the Globe. As from March 2012 we even opened an office and production facility in China.

2) What is your vision of the packaging industry in the medium term? What changes/developments do you anticipate?

The packaging market is currently undergoing enormous changes. All kind of machines need a “green label”, use of less power etc. Manufacturers are investing in modern, flexible systems. AmbaFlex is always searching for the solution what suits the demands. So our SlimLine programme will be expand with a dual lane version. Low maintenance and just a footprint of 1930 mm.

3) What will you focus on at EMBALLAGE 2012? Which new products/added value will you exhibit on your stand?

We will present on our stand at EMBALLAGE the new wide series of the SpiralVeyor® BottleLift! (SpiralVeyor® Portal) which allows getting grip on elevation of liquid containers.

The newest high friction belt enables tremendous incline. This is unprecedented in Spiral elevators and of of great importance as the products need to elevate and not to slip back. So the best feature a Spiral can offer you is high friction so you can bridge a height without any slip. This is important for the integrator because you can now design lines with economic equipment (you need fewer windings) but the machine can also be more compact.

AmbaFlex unique features include high chain pull force, conveyor length (up to 100m), super grip belt and load capacity (up to 50 kg/m). With the series of 100, 140 and 200mm narrow belts elevating, accumulating and sequence solutions can be created!
